A five o'clock shadow replaces Phillips' natural mustache in this headshot. It is such a huge contrast in vibe compared to the previous photo where he looks like an old-timey southwestern outlaw. In this photo, the star has replaced menace with mildness, and we can easily imagine him playing a hot teacher or flirty barista.

Inner-city sprawl is littered with shipping containers and commercial flight paths. But thankfully we have Zane Phillips on hand to break up the industrial vibe and bring a little beauty to the urban decor. Here the star looks like he could be recreating a vintage '70s detective series, or starring in a "Grand Theft Auto" movie adaptation.

Phillips' pose is museum-ready. Let's let him describe the picture, taken by Sam Waxman: "Persephone as a hedonistic, sensual queer, all rendered in Vermeer-esque chiaroscuro. Would be happy to do Greek mythology drag for the rest of my life tbh." You can bet your sweet pomegranates we would love that too, Zane!

This classic Castro Street look feels reminiscent of a Tom of Finland drawing. Phillips waxes poetic in the caption for this photo, explaining that he is lucky to be able to have the career he has dreamt of since childhood. But he second guesses its importance if any of it is necessary. "And if not you should be creating other Necessary and Important things with your life, and it's all contributed to this sort of fundamental insecurity in which I feel guilty about making money with my imagination and not, you know, solving global warming," he writes.

The cast and crew of Hulu's "Fire Island" after wrapping in 2021. Phillips' role is antagonistic, but it is one that reflects the times. Here is Phillips celebrating the final take of the film, "surrounded by this queer family of beautiful, hilarious, hardworking, and kind artists."

Phillips' stardom is steadily on the rise. He was in six episodes of the 2022 Netflix drama "Partner Track," and is getting ready for the release of another CW show, "Glamorous," starring Kim Cattrall and Miss Benny. With all of his good looks and acting skills, Phillips, who hails from Denver, is getting noticed in Hollywood. He recently won an independent film Gotham Award for his work on "Fire Island," and we predict many more accolades in his future.
