Sarah Jessica Parker is responding to comments about how her "Sex and the City" co-star Kim Cattrall won't be on the show's upcoming HBO Max reboot.

Called "And Just Like That," it was recently announced that Parker along with series regulars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will return to the show – however, a press release mentions nothing of Cattrall and her iconic character Samantha Jones. Over the last few years, Cattrall has been vocal about not returning to the "SATC" world and even got into a feud with Parker.

Posting about the new show to Instagram, fans expressed their disappointment that Cattrall won't be back to reprise Samantha. On user wrote how Parker and Cattrall "dislike each other," to which Parker replied, Yahoo Entertainment reports:

"No. I don't dislike her. I've never said that. Never would," she wrote. "Samantha isnt [sic] part of this story. But she will always be part of us. No matter where we are or what we do."

Another commenter wrote: "Happy to see you back but will miss Kim/Samantha" and Parker added: "We will too. We loved her so." In response to another fan who said they will miss Samantha, Parker wrote, "She will always be there." And when asked about recasting the role, Parker said, "We have some new stories to tell."
