Watch: 'Queer Eye' Fab Five Attempt to Give Iconic Mascot Gritty a Makeover

The streamer shared an 8-minute clip to YouTube Tuesday featuring the Fab Five making over Gritty – the mascot for the Philadelphia Flyers National Hockey League who went viral in 2018. The latest season of the Emmy Award-winning reality show took place in Philly, where the group took on a gay pastor, a local activist, and more.
"It's the furriest 'Queer Eye' makeover yet! Famed Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty has been known to be... a little rough around the edges," Netflix writes. "But he has a huge heart, loves the Flyers (and Kim Kardashian), is loyal to the great city of Philadelphia... and don't mess with those eyebrows, Hennie! When we set our sights on Philadelphia for Queer Eye Season 5, we couldn't ignore a very special nomination letter from a Philadelphia celebrity: the Phillie Phanatic himself!"
