Beth Malone, Tony Nominee for 'Fun Home,' Debuts at Provincetown's Art House

Beth Malone, Broadway star and Tony nominee for 2016's smash hit "Fun Home," will make her Broadway @ The Art House series debut on August 20 at 7 p.m. for one show only, with Susan Draus at the piano.

Malone starred in the original production of "Fun Home" on Broadway, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award. She made her Broadway debut in "Ring of Fire." Off Broadway she created the role of Alison the world premiere production of "Fun Home" at The Public Theatre, and starred in the musical "Bingo!" and the original Off-Broadway production of "The Marvelous Wonderettes."

Regional credits include "Ring of Fire" at Studio Arena Theatre, as well as regional productions of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," "Grand Hotel," "A New Brain," and "Babes in Arms." She has appeared at the Mark Taper Forum, Denver Center Theatre, the Ordway, Adirondack Theatre Festival, Arvada Center, and Aspen Theatre in the Park. This summer she starred as the title role in the MUNY Revival of "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" in St. Louis. Malone's television appearances include "Reno 911," "Wanda Does It," "Second Nature," "Judging Amy," "One Minute Soap Opera," and as the host of "What's On" for the TV Guide Channel.

The Art House is Provincetown's premier entertainment venue and Cape Cod's summer home to top Broadway talent, internationally touring cabaret artists, stand-up comics and America's cutting edge drag artists. Under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Mark Cortale, The Art House in Provincetown, MA, is the original home to the internationally acclaimed Broadway @ The Art House concert series hosted by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky, which premiered in 2011. The Broadway @ series also premiered in 2013 in New Orleans, in Australia (Sydney & Melbourne) with Megan Mullally and in London's West End with Patti LuPone at the Leicester Square Theater.

Other artists who have participated in the series include Chita Rivera, Sutton Foster, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Darren Criss, Megan Hilty, Cheyenne Jackson, Gavin Creel and many other stars of stage and screen.
