Don't Let Periods Be A Confidence Killer This Party Season

A new article shows how research has revealed that periods are the biggest confidence killer this party season, as a third (30 per cent) of women would consider missing their Christmas party and stay in because of a lack of confidence during their time of the month.

The research, conducted by sanitary protection brand Lil-Lets revealed that a quarter of women (25 percent) admitted to wearing six-year-old knickers on average while on their period. Three in four women (76 percent) expect their sanitary protection to fail them at some point during their period, turning to old pants that make them feel unsexy (27 percent) and unfeminine (13 percent).

Lil-lets is so confident that its SmartFit tampons give women better fit, comfort and great protection for women on their periods, that the company has joined forces with TV star Cherry Healey and independent lingerie designer Iris London to co-design limited edition pairs of beautiful, daring and confidence-boosting knickers for women to wear both on and off their period.
