Broadway Lights and Disco Nights starring Peter Fernandez takes place at Stage 954 at the Casino at Dania Beach starting at 9pm. Broadway Lights and Disco Nights is a variety show of musicals throughout the decades. This show, which features a total of 10 musicians on stage and talented backup singers, will be the first to combine the best of live musical theater, including some of the all-time favorite classics as well as some of the current shows now running on Broadway. The Manor Saturdays presents "Muchacho," a theme party starring Celebrity DJ and Matinee Superstar Hector Fonseca in the Ballroom, with a special performance by Karen K performing her hit "Muchacho."In the Ivy Lounge and Patio, Noche Latina Saturdays, presents the official Victory Party for Mia Patricyk winning Miss Noche Latina 2016, along with special guest Taina Norell (Miss Noche Latina 2014). Cinema Paradiso Fort Lauderdale (503 SE 6 Street) presents a panel discussion with three South Florida Holocaust survivors at a screening of Son Of Saul at 1pm. The critically acclaimed, Oscar nominated film is about a Hungarian member of the Sonderkommando, the group of Jewish prisoners isolated from the other inmates and forced to assist the Nazis in the machinery of large-scale extermination. The discussion will be followed by a reception and book signing of the biography, The Fifth Diamond, which tells the personal story of Irene Zisblatt, one of the special guest speakers.
