Crown's 'Broadway Series': Stars Shine Through Columbus Day Weekend

Six superstar headliners remain in the 2015 "Broadway Series" in Provincetown, Mass. this summer at The Crown & Anchor's Paramount Theatre and Town Hall Auditorium, including three remarkable talents that were not originally announced, Kathy Griffin, Charles Busch and Linda Eder. These charming personalities will round out the celebrity studded run through Columbus Day weekend.

Kathy Griffin will perform for two shows one night only, August 23 at the Town Hall Auditorium.

Whether she's tearing up stars on the red carpet, making Anderson Cooper blush on CNN or keeping fans doubled over with laughter in her stand-up comedy specials and late-night talk show appearances, the two-time Emmy winner, Grammy winner and New York Times best-selling author has been making audiences laugh for years with her rapid fire wit. In addition to holding the Guinness World Records title for the most televised stand-up comedy specials ever by a male or female, she's also the recipient of 2009's GLAAD Vanguard recipient, 2011 Trevor Project Life Award honoree, and IAVA's 2013 Leadership in Entertainment Honoree.

Nor will you want to miss Charles Busch, August 31 & September 1 Paramount Cabaret with Tom Judson at the piano.

The inimitable Charles Busch returns to Provincetown with an all new show. The two-time MAC Award winner, Tony nominee, and drag legend brings to the Crown and Anchor an. eclectic program of songs both contemporary and from the past. New York Times critic Stephen Holden wrote, "He has the gift of comic gab like few other entertainers. Innately funny, endearing and acutely intelligent, he also has claws. For an audience, the possibility of being scratched, although remote, lends his humor a bracing edge." Accompanied by his dashing longtime musical director, Tom Judson, Charles combines hilarious personal reminiscence, character sketches and superb storytelling through song into one glittering and glamorous evening in cabaret.

Summer continues to Columbus Day with Linda Eder, appearing October 10 & 11 at the Paramount Theatre.

Showcasing one of the greatest contemporary voices of our time, Linda Eder's diverse repertoire spans Broadway, standards, pop, country and jazz. As the tragic character "Lucy" in the Broadway musical "Jekyll & Hyde," from composer Frank Wildhorn, Eder blew the roof off of New York's Plymouth Theatre each night as she belted out signature songs "Someone Like You" and "A New Life." Her Broadway debut, for which she was rewarded with a Drama Desk nomination, sent her already rapidly rising star blazing across the sky, securing her spot as one of America's most beloved singers and dynamic live performers.
