Greater Palms Springs Restaurant Week Returns

Thursday Apr 4, 2019

One of the most-anticipated and flavorful culinary events in Southern California, Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week (dineGPS), returns to the lush oasis May 31-June 9, 2019. Dining enthusiasts can plan a self-guided culinary tour with family and friends, getting a little taste of this year's inventive menus at participating restaurants throughout Greater Palm Springs.

"Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity for food lovers, locals and visitors alike, to celebrate a sampling of what local eateries are cooking up," said Scott White, President & CEO of the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau. "Thanks to our dineGPS partners and creative chefs, we're excited to showcase all the innovative culinary options that our region offers. Whether it's fine dining in midcentury retro or contemporary surroundings, cozy bistros, urban-inspired gastropubs, global cuisine, casual hangouts, stylish eateries with indoor/outdoor dining—we really have it all."

During the 10-day event, many of the region's finest restaurants and eateries will showcase their menu offerings with prix fixe menus. Restaurant Week Lunch menus offer 2 courses at $15, $20 or $25, and Dinner menus offer 3 courses at $29, $39 and $49.

Some restaurants may offer wine pairings and/or supplemental dishes for an additional charge.

A new component to the event this year will be focused on giving back to the community. For every reservation booked via the dineGPS website, $1 will be donated to FIND Food Bank, an organization that distributes more than 10 million pounds of food assistance annually to an average 85,000 individuals each month across the Coachella Valley. For every $1 donated, FIND Food Bank is able to provide seven meals.
