Gay Days: 30th Annual Celebration Rescheduled To Halloween Weekend 2020

Wednesday April 15, 2020

As with many other gay-themed events, this year's edition of Gay Days has been delayed, organizers announced in a press release.

But don't worry; the sunny summer fun isn't disappearing, it's taking on an autumnal hue. This year, Gay Days will be a Hallowe'en event.

From the press release:

For the past month, the Gay Days staff has been monitoring the spread of COVID-19 throughout the United States and the world. The health and safety of our guests, staff and everyone involved is our highest priority.

In partnership with our Gay Days Host Hotel, Margaritaville Resort, and adhering to the Federal, state, local and CDC guidelines, we have rescheduled the Gay Days 30th Anniversary event (originally scheduled for June 2 to 8, 2020) to become Gay Days Halloween, and take place Tuesday, October 27 to Monday, November 2, 2020.

The release included helpful logistical information:

Individuals that have reservations at the Gay Days Host Hotel, Margaritaville Resort Orlando, our co-host hotels, and/or advance tickets to Gay Days events will be contacted directly with options to either rebook to Gay Days Halloween 2020 or Gay Days 2021, or for a refund. Gay Days knows this period is hard on everyone and will not charge any refund fees.
