Sarah Paulson took to social media Friday to post the first look at "Impeachment: American Crime Story," the new season of the FX anthology series co-created by Ryan Murphy that will focus on the impeachment of former President Bill Clinton. In her post, the star shared her transformation into Linda Tripp, a confidant of Monica Lewinsky.

In her tweet, she wrote that the show had started principle photography.

Entertainment Weekly writes that the show "will mainly track the three perspectives" of Tripp, Lewinsky — played by Beanie Feldstein ("Lady Bird," "Booksmart") — and Paula Jones — played by Annaleigh Ashford ("The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story," "Masters of Sex"). Jones sued Clinton, played here by Clive Owen, for sexual harassment in the '90s.

Out comic Billy Eichner ("Difficult People," "American Horror Story") will play The Drudge Report founder Matt Drudge, and Betty Gilpin ("GLOW," "The Hunt" ) will play ultra-right controversial commentator Ann Coulter. The show also stars Margo Martindale and Anthony Green.

Lewinsky will serve as a producer on the show, along with Murphy, Paulson, and more. "Impeachment" is based on Jeffrey Toobin's book "A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President." The season will be directed by Richard Spencer ("Girls," "Dom Hemingway"), who is also a producer.
