It looks more like a shotgun divorce.

Armie Hammer will not be co-starring with Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming film "Shotgun Wedding," Variety announced on Wednesday, citing "vicious and spurious online attacks" against him as the reason.

"I'm not responding to these bullshit claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I'm grateful to them for that," Hammer said in a statement.

Hammer was cast in the film last October, which is to be directed by by "Pitch Perfect" helmer Jason Moore. "The film centers on a couple who attend a destination wedding where attendees end up being taken hostage. 'New Girl' creator Liz Meriwether and Mark Hammer wrote the script," writes IndieWire.

The incendiary posts released last weekend on a woman's Instagram showed messages allegedly from Hammer that described "graphic sexual fantasies, going as far as cannibalism, with the actor appearing to write to a woman on the app that he is '100% a cannibal' and desired to 'drink your blood,'" writes Variety.

TMZ points out that the posts "have NOT been confirmed as authentic -- also portray Armie as domineering, demanding these women call him 'daddy' and repeatedly mentioning rape, biting and 'marking' in very raunchy sex talk."

After the initial posts, the woman behind the Instagram account posted on Sunday night that the posts were not real. "Ok ok, I admit it. It's all fake... But it was funny wasn't it?" "Then on Monday, January 11, she stood by her initial claims and alleged Armie's "crazy fans went so far as to fake a DM by me," EDGE reported.
