Sponsored by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, the Santa Skivvies Run came back to the Castro. Three Hundred people ventured out in their skivvies to run through the neighborhood raising funds for HIV/AIDS support.
The Queens and Kings of San Francisco brought their gay appeal to the Union Square ice-skating rink along with plenty of holiday cheer. Guest appearances included Denali Foxx from RuPaul's Drag Race and Brian Boitano.
On the eve of World AIDS day, a ceremony was held at the National AIDS memorial in San Francisco. Guest speakers talked about their experience during the HIV/AIDS pandemic, the progress that has been made, and the hope of reaching zero new cases.
Comfort and Joy brought back their Halloween Neon Block party to the Castro. With live performances, a drag show, costume contest and dancing, Halloween in the Castro was a blast!
The community came together to celebrate the 47th annual Castro Street Fair. Everyone enjoyed reconnecting with friends, visiting booths hosted by local non-profits, shopping at their favorite Castro stores, and hanging out at their favorite bars.
