It looks like the proverbial GOP "Big Tent" ain't big enough for Roy Moore and the Log Cabin Republicans. The LGBTQ conservative group played the religion card on Friday in a video they released urging good Christians to stand up against the Republican candidate for Alabama's open seat in the U.S. Senate.

"There is a war on Christianity happening right in our midst," LCR's video starts before telling "Good Christians to do what good Christians do; reject Roy Moore."

"Roy Moore has spent his entire career using his bigoted brand of Christianity as a weapon to relentlessly attack members of the LGBT community, all the while allegedly preying upon the most vulnerable in our society," Log Cabin Republicans President Gregory T. Angelo said in a statement released by LCR.

"Moore's myopic faith prevents him from seeing that a significant number of LGBT individuals are devout Christians themselves, including many members of Log Cabin Republicans," Angelo continued. "Regardless of one's sexual orientation or gender identity, it's time for good Christians to do what good Christians do: REJECT Roy Moore."

LCR's statement fell short of endorsing Moore's Democratic challenger Doug Jones. EDGE's email to LCR for comment on an endorsement for Jones or write-in challenger went unanswered.
